We applied for a renewal, paper version at the post office – check and send – posted 22nd July – special delivery but wasn’t received or ‘picked up’ until 29th, I waited the 3 weeks before chasing yesterday (from the date we sent) and it was still waiting to be approved.

Called this morning and it’s gone for printing – we ferry to France on the 20th… lady I spoke with was confident we’ve plenty of time to get it before then.

Will provide full timeline once we get the passport through the letterbox! The call I made yesterday though does seem to have one something… unless it’s just pure coincidence..
