Just to complete the loop, I received my daughter’s renewal passport in hand on Saturday 2nd April. Printing and approval dates below

Passport printed 8:40pm on 28 March 2022
Application approved 5:23pm on 23 March 2022

From what I learnt, TNT move pretty quickly once they have it, it’s about 2 days to deliver (can be shorter). Real issue is HMPO backlog, takes forever to print and then when printed there is a delay while they put in envelope and print label for delivery etc. Whole thing was a nightmare. Will definitely pay for a fast track option next time

My daughter’s was printed Monday evening. Still can’t track in TNT. Cancelled a trip tomorrow because of it. I’m expecting it to come through early next week. We will go on that same trip in early May instead. Based on my review of posts on here it is taking most people a week from printing to receiving in hand

Forum has been very helpful. My daughter’s passport was approved on 23/3. I got confirmation that it had been printed yesterday evening, 28/3, so five days. Sounds like printing notification to delivery is up to a week?
