What the hell did I just read , I Just read the shame on you message .
I just want to say that during this pandemic I have worked hours upon hours as a nurse , saving people’s lives whilst putting my own family at risk. I have shed tears through working so hard . I think there is no shame in wanted to get away for a week away . I had 2 holidays cancelled in space of a year. 1 through thomas cook due to the airline going down and one which was in june for my 1st anniversary with my husband. I have booked a family holiday for august and I fully intent on enjoying ever second of it. Plus anywhere in the uk is twice as expensive as going abroad.
Shame on you for even commenting .

I applied for my child’s renewal passport on 24th june which I know is a little late as we are due to travel on 30th august but in honesty I really believed it would be cancelled. We are travelling to greece to scatter ashes of a family member who passed away and it was their dying wish so now I have to hope and pray that my daughters renewal comes in time as if it doesnt then this impacts 5 of us as we cant travel without her.
I wrote to my mp a few days ago as it stated for 10 days that they were still awaiting supporting documents.
Today I got a reply from my mp stating she was going to help the best she can . Which is great. So as of writing this on 10th july my application says recieved support documents . So fingers crossed.

Sent my daughters renewel onljne on 24tb june. Sent support docs on 26th which have been signed for on 30th june. Since then I have heard nothing were due to fly on 30th august which I know is 7 weeks away but if it doesnt arrive then none of our family can travel as we cant leave her on her own . Has any one recieved their in a good time frame. My documents were sent to Durham office .
