So we have pretty much given up hope now.
Application submitted on 24th April to replace a lost passport. No update at all, every time we make contact with the customer support management team we are advised that it is being examined and if we have emailed the upgrade team (which we have done a number of times) then there is nothing more we can do.
No reply from the Durham Upgrade Team even with support from our local MP.
We are supposed to fly out to Cyprus on Monday, if no word by this afternoon we have no choice to change the date to next year. Jet2 require more than 48 hours before flying to change the date and the HMPO wont consider walk in visits until less than 48 hours before travel and even then it seems to be a lottery so we’re not going to risk it!
Very disappointing, but it is what it is!
