Yes, I have just taken delivery of a childs first passport and I hope you get yours in time!

Here is the full timeline:

Application sub/ID etc 15 July 2020
Documents received 20 July 2020
Application being processed 22 July 2020
Application approved 14 August 2020
Passport printed and sent 17 August 2020
Delivered by TNT to Edinburgh Area 19 August 2020

When you hit 28 days phone and chase as they can escalate. I am travelling on Friday however I hadn’t booked as per guidance and told them that so why are other people skipping me in the que. With a whole 48hrs to spare we finally have it and with no thanks to our registry office which was the initial delay in getting a birth certificate!

You should be able to track via the link. My one was authorised on 14th and printed and sent this morning with TNT showing delivery on the 19th.

sub 15, docs rec 20th, process 22 July then been chasing since. It is the luck of the draw

I submitted ours on the 15th July and it has been at processing since the 22nd for a baby’s first passport and being dealt with by Belfast as that is where the documents went. Looks like ours is stuck in a pile and we are hoping to travel next week.

Anyone else had any luck and can post the timeline for this bunch? I’m now at 28 days since submission and 21 days at processing with no movement since. starting to lose hope in getting away next week!

Yes, I received it and an email too saying the same thing. I submitted a child’s first passport application on the 15th of July and the processing began 22nd July and being dealt with by Belfast.
