I also got the call (from Durham office)! Flying 26th and getting next day delivery so Monday before 1pm. Called countless times over the past 2 weeks with no help from the advisers and also emailed multiple times with no responses. Just shows that there is still hope for anyone in the same situation! Good luck everyone 🙂

urgentpassport0426Participant@coralp I also fly the 26th and I’ve emailed so many times with the date in the subject yet still nothing. Fingers crossed for tomorrow… really is our last chance. Does anyone know if passport offices are open for collection on weekends?

I am also waiting for Durham upgrade team to get back to me re flight on 26th. As I’ve said I’ve seen people getting calls back a couple of days before they fly, fingers crossed for us. It’s weird, I’ve sent in total about 5/6 emails but only 2 have come back with an automatic email…

urgentpassport0426ParticipantI’m in the exact same situation as you – fly on the 26th. I asked on a call this morning if I could get a phone number to the upgrade team but apparently there is none and we just need to email AGAIN. I just need an answer, whether good or bad news!!

I explained I sent an email last Tuesday and she said I should have got a call by now. She’s now put a note on our application and said to expect a call in the next two days… Been told “next two days” so many times now… Oh well, will just have to call up again tomorrow to keep chasing. She also emphasised that it is a request and it is not guaranteed, but either way they should contact you to let you know.

But I’ve phoned up again today and the woman was extremely unhelpful, told me to be patient and someone will call me on Tuesday as it is just skeleton staff over the weekend/bank holiday. She didn’t even check my details before telling me that. Also refused to check which passport office my application is at and said whoever given me the email address would have already looked into it. So frustrating!!
