I wanted to share my experience as I was checking this forum daily. Maybe I was one of the lucky ones.

Adult renewal

I managed to get a fast track weekly appointment at Liverpool for my adult renewal. Attended on the 30th May 9.30am. Walked straight in because I had an appointment. Whole process was done in 30 mins.

The staff were amazing and very friendly. Even had a nice buzz about the place as everyone was in the same boat.

Passport arrived 5 days later!!!

Child’s 1st passport

This is the one that kept me up late worrying.

Application submitted 2nd May
Identify details received 2nd May
Application received 2nd May
Documents sent 4th May
Documents received 13th May
Application approved 31st May
Passport printed 2nd June
Passport officially in my hand 6th June

Any tips – keep positive (if you can). Before applying online try and get a fast track appointment instead. I kept refreshing every hour for a few days! The extra cost is worth it. If you can’t don’t delay sending documents and pay for tracking.
