Approved, printed and sent 24th September

1 adult, one child renewal sent to Peterborough and Newport respectively.
Applied online 27/08/21
Docs received 06/09/21 (actually arrived 31/08/21)Nothing since on either application.
We are booked to fly to Cyprus 14/10/21. Like others I saw that we weren’t travelling within 3 weeks so no need to fast track but didn’t see anything about a 10 week wait.My parents have since had their renewals done within a week!
Thanks for the reassuring posts liv and 9prycer. I submitted mine 27th August, old passport received 6th sep then nothing.
I don’t think there’s any way to know Summers Sun. I applied and sent mine and my son’s renewals on 27th August but there’s been no update since they say they received them on 6th sep.
You can’t upgrade to the fast track service without requesting to cancel your application in writing, getting your docs back then trying to get a fast track appointment. That could take weeks again.
Theres nobody to help.
We fly 14th Oct.
