Amazingly good service. Applied day 1, posted old pp. day 2, approved within 10mins of receipt on day 3. Arrived back with me by courier on day 7. This was a normal application, not the expedited service. My only disappointment is that the Gov website is still quoting 10 weeks.

Can’t really fault it – received passport back within 3 weeks, technically closer to 2 as I didn’t send old passport back until 2 days after applying. Updates sent when any status changed in the application. Heard horror stories but pleasantly surprised.
