7 days from date of applying on line with a digital photo. In fact, don’t think they start working in the application until old paper received, which took 2 days. So 5 days to receive new passport including printing and delivery time. Very impressed.

In the end I got my passport in plenty of time but not being able to speak to someone and the information of length of time it would take being incorrect caused a lot of unnecessary stress.
In reality I had 9 weeks it said it would take 10 weeks but took just over 3 weeks.

Excellent experience in difficult times.
I decided to go straight for fast track despite having 8 weeks until our holiday for my baby’s first passport. This was the best decision I made.
3 week wait for appointment.
Appointment Tuesday 17th May 2pm.
Passport through door Sat 21st May 1pm.
Experience at the passport office was excellent. Very efficient, polite happy staff.
I honestly cannot fault the fast track service. Completely worth the money to save my stress levels.
