Passport office were superb.
My timeframe includes Royal Mail taking 72 hours longer than should for guaranteed next day delivery.
Could have had process done in a week were it not for that.

Unbelievable turnaround time. Applied online Sunday 4th, posted old passport on Monday 5th (with strikes every few days). Receipt acknowledged and request for identity verification on Tuesday 13th. Passport on doormat by 8am Thursday 15th (not via mail one assumes, as they’re striking again today). Five stars!
