Took my photo online, filled out the form online. All very easy. They confirmed receipt of my passport within 5 days and I would be surprised if it arrived in less than 3 days with royal mail strikes. Approved on day 13, printed on day 14 and delivered on day 15. What more can you expect other than maybe stop managing expectations and the media highlighting the odd complicated application.

This is ludicrous and unacceptable. How can it take four months when it used to take a few weeks? Summer plans and replans were all cancelled as a result of this insanity.
