Old passport was lost in transit to passport office. Took numerous attempts to contact passport office to find out what I needed to do to keep the application in progress. Reported lost on 09/06/22 but didn’t get a Lost passport ref. Chased with advice line and told to keep reporting on website until I got the ref. Took me 2 more attempts to get a ref. Linked to application 28/06/22 but nothing happened.
Application expedited when I was due to travel in 2 weeks.
Only got passport 4 days before travel.
