Applied through Post Office Check & Send. Was slightly delayed because the post office photo that they took was rejected… Would advise to apply yourself online and take a picture at Snappy Snaps or another verified photo company.

It took awhile for them to acknowledge receipt of documents despite being signed for on the 12th of Jan at 8.30am. I received my documents (by Royal Mail) on the same day as the UK passport. No tracking was given. Passport was printed on Thursday evening and I received it at 10am on Monday.

We submitted a photo rated “orange”, the one it rated “green” wasn’t good. It got processed no problem. We did ensure it complied with the written rules, no idea why the system didn’t give it green but anyway it was accepted no problem.

Much quicker than expected. My old passport still had over a year on it but suffered water damage. Summited online on a Saturday didn’t Fed Ex the required documents until the following Wednesday as I got 50% off that day.. Documents signed for at Durham Friday 13th Jan and officially received Monday 16th. So received the passport 11 days after the documents were received which included a 2 day journey with DHL
