Today (8/2/23):
– Email to say that the passport had been printed and will be transferred to our delivery supplier in the next few days
– Text from TNT to say scheduled for delivery
– Passport delivered this morning just after 10am!
The only hiccup was that I sent my old passport to the passport office the same day as the online application by the Royal Mails Guaranteed next day delivery by 1pm but it didn’t arrive until 3 days later! Apparently there is an extra charge for Saturday delivery but I wasn’t told that. I complained and got the full postage charge back.
Text and email updates were ideal.
Delivery by TNT super quick. I expected to have to sign for it but I didn’t have to (a good job as I was out when I received a text to say the delivery was imminent!
