Didn’t acknowledge signed for documents sent on 21 FEB 22 until 17 MAR 22. Pointless phone calls to see if they could tell me what had happened. Was on point of cancelling as a “stolen” passport and did have to cancel a future holiday due to concerns.

We did not receive any updates and were unable to track progress via check and send service. When we phoned, we were kept on hold for 30 mins and then given inaccurate information. We received my daughter’s existing and still valid passport back before the new one and were unable to use it as it had been cut. We had to cancel our holiday which we had rolled twice because of covid. We lost all our money.
Sent in my application online 1st April, it has been printed and the label generated ready for dispatch on 23rd April but TNT haven’t received it yet, when they do, it will be 48-72 hours for delivery. I was supposed to be flying long haul on Thursday but luckily hadn’t yet done my PCR, bad enough having to change the flights without added expense. According toTNT, the hold up is after printing, they don’t have enough staff to physically put them into the envelopes and scan and stick the labels on. Added to that, TNT only collect from them Monday to Friday.
Hello, Sorry to hear this, Can I ask a few questions because, this is sounding similar to my situation but as yet I haven’t been able to speak to TNT or the passport office. Are you in the inbetween place (lol) where you have the email from the passport office saying it has been printed and sent to the ‘delivery partner’ but then not yet heard from TNT with a tracking code? It said it could be a ‘few days’ but its now been 4 weeks. I got the ‘printed passport’ confirmation email on 01/04/22 but haven’t heard a peep from anyone since. Can you shed any further light from your experience? Is it worth trying to call someone do you think? Thanks so much in advance. Ali 🙂
My daughters first passport was printed at 2.19am on 22nd April and delivered yesterday (26th April) received a text from TNT yesterday morning to say it would be delivered same day.
