I submitted my passport application just before the bank holiday, so it didn’t actually arrive there til Tuesday. However, I had the passport delivered back to me on Saturday so only took 5 days from when they received it to me getting it back!

Posted first class on 24/3. Not delivered by Royal Mail until 28/3. Due to Easter BH not updated in passport tracking until 2/3/24. Processed 3/3/24. Printed/posted 4/3/24 and received 5/3/24!!
Poor service from Royal Mail originally but passport office fantastic!

Very quick and easy, although they returned the birth certificate just in a mail back so surprise surprise it’s damaged. Frustrating as I sent it in a hard back envelope to stop this bappening
