Because of the Easter bank holiday, the longest part was my old passport getting to the passport office. Once that was received (Wed 03/04/24), it has taken less than a week to receive my new passport!
The process was really easy online, form completed in under half an hour.

Comments:
3 stages, get photos done, fill out online form and submit, send passport, I did all 3 on a single day. Passport sent tracked delivery, passport office did not acknowledge receipt for 36 hours but process very quick from then on.
