Applied on line 8th April and posted old passport by first class signed for the next day. Old passport was received on the 11th and application was approved on the 15th. Passport was printed and despatched today for delivery tomorrow the 18th.

The application website did an assessment of the photo and said it should be OK. I followed the instructions and used a tripod.
I think 9 days including postage time in both directions and a weekend is excellent.

Asked for my marriage certificate because my name was different on my passport to my child’s birth certificate so this held it up fir few days.
