I completed my online application on 12th February but I needed to send in documents to update to my married name which I didn’t post until 17th February. I was notified that they received my documents on 19th February and told that my application was approved on 22nd February. On 24th February I was notified that it had been printed and I received it the next day.

Comments:
Got caught out by the “10 year rule” so really happy to get a new passport within a week. Really easy online process. I did use an online photo cropping and checking service to validate my phone photo as it was relatively urgent. Quite impressed overall tbh.

Used the photo me booth which said photo was correct criteria. Used the code on the passport website that said photo wasn’t acceptable had to explain reason why it hit the criteria. It was accepted by the passport office.
