Very impressive service very easy can’t fault it – I was worried about the strike delaying the system and wanted to know if printing and desist hung would still take place and it was hard to find this information. However once I received the approved messsge – Friday 30
March late afternoon I hoped it would still print and despatch – it arrived today 4 April.

Generally very good – we had originally planned on getting a fast track appointment as we’re due to fly on the 15th April but didn’t fancy the 5 hours round trip to our nearest passport office. Was a little slower than I’ve seen on here, 18 days, but there was the strike announcement and my name needed to be changed as I got married recently. Overall, really glad I went with the standard service and was really impressed with the text and email updates.

Worth adding that we never got any tracking information. Entering the application number on TNT’s site in the dedicated box simply threw up an error. This was right up to the arrival of the passport

Spent a few days looking for a fast track appointment as needed for holiday in less than 10 weeks and anticipated it being a while with the strikes, no luck so just took the chance and done it online. Booking a fast track appt was made much easier thanks to the the UK Fast Track and Premium passport twitter page alerting when appts were online, and the ability to change our appt to a closer location date/time after the initial booking. To attend an appt at 4pm on a Friday and arrive by courier Tuesday lunchtime is impressive and worth the extra expense to be assured our babies first passport arrived in time

I was concerned about the waiting time due to previous delays from covid and the oncoming strikes, and especially with how difficult it was to secure the appointment itself in the first place, but it ended up getting delivered in less than a week! I had also lost my previous passport but this didn’t seem to delay the application at all. The appointment itself was very quick and easy; in and out in less than half an hour. Overall, a less stressful experience than I had previously assumed and the week wait time for delivery is accurate.
