I am very pleased at the quick turnaround time. It was east to track the progress and I was kept updated at every step. It is nothing like the horror stories you read in the media. The quality of the passport appears to be much worse than the old one, however.

Comments:
I went and got my photo done at a local Max Spielmann Photo Booth and then submitted it online by using the reference number. It cost £10, but meant I knew it was correct. My partner did her’s with her mobile phone and it was rejected. As I was changing my name, I also paid very careful attention to the supporting documentation they asked for and made sure it was all absolutely correct. The documents were sent to BOOTLE.

Could not have been easier … very efficient. Updated regularly by text/email. Used a digital photo service from Timpson’s which gave high level of assurance that photo was approved …
