I submitted online on the 1st. Sent the old passport via 1st class recorded delivery the next day.
Royal mail text came yesteday saying they are delivering a package from the passport office.
Updated on the Passport office page wasn’t good.
I had an update this morning saying it was printed. I received it via Royal Mail at 11.30am. Not complaining as I expected to wait 10 weeks.

I am super pleased with the fast processing. I applied for my daughter’s first “child” passport abroad (from Europe) and thought it would take me a few months, but surprisingly, it took 3 weeks from start to finish, including receiving it.

Our documents were lost and I believe my son’s application only progressed because I rang multiple times. I was given incorrect information which resulted in it being passed to a manger and I had the passport 4 days later.
