Comments:
First passport after naturalisation. Submitted after 4:30 with Online Check and Send at the Post Office. Identity details confirmed on the same day, documents received by the HMPO on 1 September, approved 7 September, printed on the following day and delivered on Saturday. My supporting documents were delivered very early on Tuesday morning (12 September).

Comments:
The overall process was very quick and easy! I submitted the application right after my citizenship ceremony finished and got to send my documents (other passport and citizenship certificate) a couple of hours later. I recieved texts and emails notifying me when my application was approved, when the passport was being printed and when it was sent out for delivery.

Was really quick and easy considering I was doing a name/gender change. Sent my documents on the 1st, they had received and acknowledged them by the 4th and approved my passport on the 8th and sent it on the 11th. The quickest renewal I’ve ever had.

I still haven’t received my passport from Durham. I have even applied for upgrade but still no joy. I have rung them over 40 times and have been given conflicting information. My flight is tomorrow 13/09/23. If no passport then can’t go! Worst service I have ever experienced! Documents went to CORBY but DURHAM are now dealing with it.

My old passport was delivered to the passport office on the Monday, my new passport was out for delivery on that same Friday morning.
The only reason my application took a couple of weeks is because I was slow sending my old
one back.
