My passport arrived loads sooner than I expected and it arrived the day after I got the notification it was being printed. The ‘allow up to 10 weeks’ comment worried me, but it was more like 10 days! I delayed sending my old passport to them because I needed it to vote in the local elections, so it could have been even quicker if I’d posted that straight away.

The process was smooth and fast considering there were two bank holidays during the processing period. I was planning to use the fast track first as I couldn’t wait for 10 weeks but was happy to go the standard route after seeing the average handling times on this site. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to supporting document requirements not being clear until the application was already submitted. Otherwise happy with everything.

I have applied and sent in my application on 4/15 it was received and i received a text saying i need to send in my old passport. That arrived in UK from USA on MAY 4th…I still as of 5/20 HAD NO UPDATE I leave mid July for international travel with my entire family who are US citizens and have passports. What must or can I do? Also has anyone been able to expedite overnight mail at least?
